In reaction to the Supreme Court’s decision today in West Virginia et al.  v. U.S. Environmental Protection Agency et al., Clean Water Action President Robert Wendelgass released the following statement:

“Today’s Supreme Court decision blocks federal government action to address the existential threat of climate change. Climate change is a water issue, a clean air issue, an equity issue, and a public health issue. Clean Water Action will continue to mobilize people and push institutions at the local, state and federal levels to support the transition to a fossil fuel free future and to protect our health, our water, and our communities from climate change impacts.”
