Tell your legislators: Advance clean energy in Connecticut

Contact your legislators today about four priority clean energy bills that will protect our health and climate:

  • Senate Bill 7 lays out an ambitious and smart climate action plan including an emissions reduction target of 45% by 2030 for buildings, electricity, and Connecticut's biggest source of climate pollution, transportation.
  • Senate Bill 9 translates these climate goals into a renewable energy standard for Connecticut’s utilities - 40% by 2030. (As currently written SB 9 attacks net metering for solar customers. We need legislators to improve this bill.)
  • Senate Bill 336 establishes a program of Community Shared Solar, making clean power accessible to all.
  • House Bill 5087 would actually restore the critical Clean Energy Funds that were raided at year-end in the budget process.
