The role is remote but may require onsite meetings. The ReThink Disposable Intern will primarily assist our Zero Waste Outreach Specialist on our ReThink Disposable campaign. All Clean Water interns get the opportunity to interview all staff members on campaign teams which include Climate Justice, Water Quality, Toxics, and Zero Waste. As an intern, you'll actively engage the public, igniting their passion for critical national and state campaigns to protect clean water, combat climate change, expose the impacts of oil and gas production, and discover safer alternatives to toxic chemicals.

Clean Water Action and Clean Water Fund seek an experienced Community Organizer to lead outreach and organizing efforts for health-related environmental issues in Pittsburgh and southwest PA. The role involves developing effective community engagement strategies to mobilize residents and drive successful issue campaigns addressing lead contamination, plastic pollution, and advocating for environmental justice policies at both state and local levels. Candidates should have a passion for clean water, environmental justice, waste reduction, and community health. Experience in communities of color and lower-income areas is a plus.
