Clean Water Action Alliance of Minnesota is a state chapter of national Clean Water Action working to ensure that Minnesota has clean and safe water now and for generations to come. We promote the fundamental policies needed to improve the quality of our water and our lives. We work in alliance to address the environmental, social and economic justice issues arising from environmental problems. We foster active citizen leadership and organize affected communities to create political institutions that preserve and enhance our shared environmental legacy.

Clean Water Action is part of a broader national network, the Progressive Action Network. We offer "cross-trains", so you can spend time in another office in our network to gain exposure to other progressive issues, learn new skills, develop as a leader, and make new friends in the progressive movement! The environmental movement is only as strong as the number of leaders who can carry it forward. Within Clean Water Action there are opportunities for advancement with in the first several months.
