Clean Energy Suppliers

Massachusetts' residents have several clean energy options.

GreenUp

National Grid customers have three clean energy suppliers to choose from. We encourage you to consider all available options to determine which provider best meets your needs.

  1. Mass Energy Consumers Alliance
The Mass Energy Consumer's Alliance is a Massachusetts-based grassroots non-profit organization that has advocated for both affordable and environmentally sustainable energy choices since 1982.
  2. Green Communities
Community Energy is committed to increasing the domestic supply of clean fuel-fee energy. They, along with their parent company IBERDROLA, are dedicated to providing climate change and energy solutions by rapidly advancing the availability of clean energy.
  3. Sterling Planet
Sterling Planet is a national renewable energy company that was launched in 2001. Their mission is to lead the migration to sustainable energy that is good for the environment, the economy, and all current and future generations.
New England Wind Fund

New England Wind Fund (NEWF) is the only clean energy option in Massachusetts available to all residents. Energy from NEWF comes from local New England wind sources. To support NEWF you may make a one-time donation or monthly contribution.
