Our Field and Phone canvass programs provide extensive training and rapid advancement to leadership positions. You will learn strategic communication skills and gain knowledge about environmental issues, grassroots lobbying, and organizing and fundraising.
Field canvass positions are available full and part time. As a canvasser, you will mobilize community members in priority political districts at their homes and raise awareness of environmental and public health issues. Start at $9.25 - $11.25 per hour with a paid training program. Earnings vary slightly between offices. A benefits package is available*.
Phone canvass positions are part time, providing flexible scheduling for students and applicants with day jobs. You'll contact Clean Water Action members by phone with updates, calls-to-action, membership renewals, special appeals and thank-you messages. Work evening hours. Starting pay from $9 - $12 per hour.
