Strategic green infrastructure projects are a quick and efficient way to address sewage overflow problems that burden our City and contaminate our rivers.  A model project is being proposed for the Four Mile Run watershed in Schenley Park that  will deliver as much as $300 million in storm water reduction benefits, prevent almost a billion gallons of untreated sewage from getting into our rivers, reduce dangerous flooding, and provide employment and recreational opportunities for all Pittsburghers to enjoy.

This can’t happen unless the City of Pittsburgh, ALCOSAN, PWSA, and the major Oakland institutions like CMU, Pitt and UPMC step up and make the investments to make this project a reality.

Tell Mayor Peduto to make an investment into our communities by helping to fund the final design of this amazing green infrastructure project!
