Tell the DEP not to exempt Shell from Water Pollution Laws!

Royal Dutch Shell recently applied for a water pollution permit from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).  If approved, this permit would invite dangerous levels of cancer-causing pollutants like benzene and chrysene to be dumped into the Ohio River every day.  In addition, Shell is attempting to delete and weaken monitoring requirements for legacy pollution such as arsenic and hexavalent chromium.

Tell the DEP to reject this permit and require Shell to submit a plan that actually protects the health and safety of the people that live in Western Pennsylvania!
