Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority (PWSA) and Mayor Peduto recently released their City-Wide Green First Plan. The plan outlines how Pittsburgh intends to use innovative, cost-effective, and green infrastructure approaches to manage stormwater. Implementing the plan will mitigate local street flooding and sewer backups caused by large rainstorms as well as generate community benefits such as cleaner air, cooler temperatures, and sustainable job opportunities. This plan is a better alternative to ALCOSAN's gray tunnel plan.
Let PWSA and Mayor Peduto know that you support the Clean and Green plan and want to see community benefits for your investment!
